Statement regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)


To our DiBella’s guests,

The health and safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority, and with the ever-changing situation regarding COVID-19, we feel it is necessary to outline the steps we are proactively taking to ensure our restaurants and the food we serve live up to the highest standards of safety. We have established an internal Corona Virus Task Force to closely monitor guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and National Restaurant Association (NRA) to make sure we are doing all we can to protect our employees and guests.

In addition to the steps outlined below, we are in constant communication with our suppliers and business partners to ensure they are also taking the proper steps to prevent contamination and the spread of germs. 

Here are some steps we are taking to ensure the safety of our guests and employees:

We have temporarily changed our service model to takeout only at ALL locations. Effective Sunday, March 15, dining room tables will temporarily be unavailable at our restaurants.

We have activated social distancing policies limiting the number of guests in our locations and controlling the flow of traffic once guests are in DiBella's restaurants.

All restaurant general managers have been retrained on proper restaurant cleaning and hand-washing procedures. 

We have ensured that our cleaning/sanitation products are adequately able to minimize germs related to Coronavirus per the approved products listed by the CDC.

Hand sanitizer (where available) will be available to the public at all times within our restaurants.

We have increased the frequency of the cleaning of all areas of our restaurant on an hourly basis. This includes, but is not limited to door handles, serving counters, drink stations, chairs, booths, tables, trash units, bathrooms, register counters, and pagers/table tents used for hot sub orders. During busier times, much of this cleaning will be done every 15 minutes.

Employees have been instructed not to come to work if they are sick. If they show any signs of sickness, they will immediately be asked to go home. 

Finally, if you are not feeling well or are uncomfortable dining at DiBella’s, you can always order online at dibellas.com or by using our app and then pick up your order at the register. Delivery is also available via online ordering from all DiBella’s locations.
